Richard is the founding owner and managing director of CS Legal.

Originally from the UK, after qualifying as a lawyer, Richard worked for nine years at Midland Montague Bank and Fuji Bank International in the UK as a currency trader before moving to Perth.

Richard founded CS Legal in 2001 as a legal practice specialising in conveyancing services. Under Richard’s leadership, the company is now one of Western Australia’s premiere property settlement & commercial law providers.

As the managing director, Richard takes a lead role in the day to day management of the staff and the financial and administrative affairs of the firm. Richard also advises on complex property settlement matters, utilising his extensive experience and knowledge of the Perth real estate and legal industry. With his strong commercial outlook and financial ability, Richard also provides invaluable advice on commercial aspects of various matters undertaken by the firm.

Richard spends considerable time and effort meeting existing and new clients to reinforce and build relationships in his characteristic informal and friendly manner. He is always available to clients, colleagues, real estate agents and other business associates, happy to field calls at anytime.

Professional and Academic Qualifications:

  • LLB (Hons) Coventry University, UK
  • Graduate Diploma in Law (UWA)
  • Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia
